Retail point of sale
Included POS software at zero cost that connect the shop counter to your wider retail operation.
Connect the counter without disrupting the store.
Your till is part of the daily routine. Replacing it unnecessarily adds staff training and operational risk. We first review whether existing POS data can support stock visibility and the online order flow.
Where a retailer needs new capabilities, included POS software is configured for tills, branches, receipts and staff permissions. Hardware compatibility, payment terminals and offline operation need explicit confirmation.
A clear operational workflow.
Agree the rules, give each step an owner, and make exceptions visible.
Review the current till
Identify the POS provider, product codes, stock exports and branch structure.
02Define the connection
Agree what moves between in-store sales, product records and online availability.
03Train and reconcile
Test sales, returns and stock adjustments, then review discrepancies with the store team.
What we establish together.
- Existing POS version, integration rights and export formats.
- Till hardware, scanners, receipt printers and payment terminal compatibility.
- Staff access, refund permissions and branch-specific responsibilities.
- Cutover, training and a practical contingency for connection failures.
If a product sells at the counter while an online order is being placed, the business needs an agreed stock update and reservation policy. A safety buffer may be more appropriate than advertising every last unit when synchronisation is periodic.
This example explains the workflow; it is not a customer case study or a performance claim.
Your questions, answered.
Must I replace my current till?
No. We first assess whether its exports or integration interfaces can support the required workflow.
Is POS included with every plan?
Yes. POS software is included at zero cost in the Vehoo model. We confirm the configuration and hardware compatibility for your store.
Can different branches have separate tills?
Branch and till structure can be part of a multi-site scope, with access and stock ownership defined per location.
Will existing card terminals work?
Compatibility depends on the terminal provider, payment arrangement and selected POS setup. It must be checked before a commitment is made.
Does POS guarantee real-time online stock?
No. Update frequency depends on the source system and connection. Stock buffers and exception handling are agreed around those limits.
Retail inventory management
Build online availability around reliable stock information from your stores and warehouses.
02Online payments & reconciliation
Connect payment status, refunds and settlement reporting to the order workflow.
03Connected multi-site retail
Coordinate branches, stock locations, staff responsibilities and reporting across a retail group.
One stock picture, from the till to the website.
A counter sale and an online sale can draw from the same shelf. The included POS software helps record in-store activity so your team can see how it affects the quantity available online. Product identifiers, returns and staff permissions are set up before the new workflow goes live.
POS software is offered at zero cost within the Vehoo model. If your existing till works well, we review its connection first. Hardware compatibility and update frequency are checked separately; we do not assume that every existing terminal can exchange live stock data without preparation.
Your systems can be part of the plan.
Explore platform-specific connection routes, supported data and the checks we make before launch. If your system is not listed, we can assess its API, connector or export options.
