Merchant onboarding
Prepare product data, staff workflows and storefront settings for a controlled online launch.
Make the first day manageable for the team.
Onboarding brings together product data, access, payment setup, fulfilment rules and staff training. Each item needs an owner and a clear readiness check before the store takes live orders.
The plan should be specific enough for your team to act on: who does the work, which systems are involved and what evidence shows that the next stage is ready.
A clear operational workflow.
Agree the rules, give each step an owner, and make exceptions visible.
What we establish together.
- Domain and system access
- Product images, descriptions and identifiers
- Payment and delivery approvals
- Staff training and test-order sign-off
Before a launch, staff can practise an order containing an unavailable item. That reveals who contacts the customer and how reservations and payment adjustments are handled.
This example explains the workflow; it is not a customer case study or a performance claim.
Your questions, answered.
Who owns the onboarding checklist?
Vehoo and the merchant agree named responsibilities so missing data or access does not silently delay the launch.
Can we import existing product information?
Yes, subject to format, quality and the merchant’s rights to use the supplied images and descriptions.
Will staff receive training?
Training scope and materials are agreed around the tasks each role needs to perform.
Can we test without real customer orders?
A controlled testing phase should rehearse key journeys before live transactions are enabled.
How is the launch date chosen?
It follows readiness of the catalogue, systems, payment arrangements, fulfilment and staff; it is not a universal fixed turnaround.
Managed digital commerce
A merchant-branded online channel, connected to the practical work of running your retail business.
02Order management
Give each online order a clear status, a responsible person and a defined next step.
03Retail analytics & reporting
Understand sales alongside fulfilment, stock exceptions and delivery economics.
Turn the plan into a store your team can operate.
We prepare your branded website and e-commerce catalogue, connect checkout and payments, and configure the included POS, inventory and warehouse tools. Product codes, prices, images and stock locations need to agree across the customer-facing store and the back office.
Your team reviews the range and learns the preparation workflow while Vehoo connects the online operation. Before launch we rehearse a sale, a stock change and a delivery handover. The aim is a working routine, with no upfront website or system setup bill.
Your systems can be part of the plan.
Explore platform-specific connection routes, supported data and the checks we make before launch. If your system is not listed, we can assess its API, connector or export options.
